The shortblock should be here next week, along with the heads. Intake is already here. I'm getting a shitload of stuff from Summit delivered tomorrow.
Then, the car goes into the chassis shop on December 10th for the cage work. We are also going to have to cut out the stock metal from the strut towers so the headers will clear and clearance the firewall. The cage will tie into the front suspension, so we can afford to lose some metal up there.
My hood scoop will be here tomorrow, but the hood is still a month away. If push comes to shove, I'll cut a hole in my stock hood so I can get 9 second licensed before the season begins in January.
In the mean time, I thought you guys would like to see the size of the fuel lines, so I took a pic of the fuel filter with a quarter next to it for perspective:
Looks like a water filter for a garden hose . . lmao. The fuel pump has a 10AN inlet . . . fucking insane.
and yea I would hope its installed and painted........might not stay on when you make a 1/4 mile pass if you dont at least put some duct tape on it ;D
