The best thing about it is that all these guys are really excited about the project. The chassis guy is going to be coming to the track to help get the suspension dialed in, the engine guy is all excited about squeezing every last horse outta the thing.
I was talking to one of the guys at the engine shop about running the car in Street Bandit and having to slow it down to 10.60 . . . he said "Man . . 10 60 will be easy on parts . . lol"
I can't wait!

Here are some new pics of the cage mocked up and the dash out . . .
It looks like we might be able to get as much as 700 pounds out of the car. The front end is going to be mounted on a tube structure and will be completely removable for easy access to the motor.

the build looks like its going very NICE! the cage looks pretty ! u gotta get some video of this bad boy too when you get it all finished. just a quick question though will you be able to blast down the track with the top down???

I actually may be able to run with the top down. We have been looking at the NHRA rules and this cage should allow me to do so. Of course, the track always has the last word. But, if I can run top down, I certainly will! :bunny3:
