TTSaleen's Mach 1 Project - This time in Azure Blue!!!

So this happened yesterday, November 28, 2016.
I found this new project on Craigslist and it was located in Delaware.
I made the 14 hour roundtrip up there to buy it and got home at 4AM this morning. LONG DAY!

But I LOVE this color! Azure Blue for the win!
Car only had 2 previous owners and was almost 100% stock.
It has a Magnaflow exhaust and a K+N cold air inlet.
Someone also had installed a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch in it within the last 2 years.

Today I did my normal tune up.
New spark plugs, oil and filter change, and fuel filter change.
Filled up with 93 octane.
Installed a new adjustable clutch cable, with quadrant and firewall adjuster.

Looks good! My next door neighbor has a Mach in the same color. It's stock other than exhaust and 20" wheels.

Here's a shot from today as I was leaving work.
Got the rear fenders rolled for my new wheel/tire combo next week.

Few mods so far.
Installed my MAC prochamber mid pipe off my Cobra onto it.
Dropped it with Steeda lowering springs.
Installed my AFS 18" staggered wheels and Toyo tires.

Got my new headlights with clear corners and my Stealth bulbs from the UPS man today. Make a huge improvement over the faded stock ones!!!

They look clear but light up amber.

Those are my favorite headlights lol. I have had several sets over the years, to include the set on the car now

Looks great! I'm a big fan of keeping Mach 1 style wheels true to the car, they look perfect in 18s with the rear lip

You and I are in total agreement. I looked at various wheels to put on the car, but like my Cobra, I wanted to keep the original theme of the car.
I love the AFS 18" wheels! Fit great and look factory.

So jealous of the models!

Dude those are super hard to find! And when you do, they are not cheap! Funny thing is those were less than $60 when new, but good luck finding them under $150 now!
I got lucky and found my AB Mach 1 for $120 shipped! The Cobra model cost me $100 a year ago.
