So this is kind of a re-do of a build thread I started in a different life, but here goes.

I bought this car in the beginning of 2013 and started tinkering with it pretty much right away. Exhaust, intake, and the basics. That quickly evolved into GT40P heads, P specific Ford Racing headers, and a small number of other items.

In the spring of 2016 the motor spun a rod bearing and I set on my way to build a new motor.

The long block consists of:

- Stock machined 94 block
- DSS forged pistons, rods and cast Eagle crank
- Melling oil pump
- Custom Comp Cams camshaft
- Milodon 7 quart deep sump oil pan
- RHS 35011 180CC runners with a 58cc combustion chamber, 2.02 I and 1.60 E valves
- 1.6 roller rockers, Comp lifters and TFS push rods
- SFI 25oz dampener and flexplate

The motor is also topped with a ok quality copy of a Parker Funnel Web intake that has been ported, and cleaned up. Fuel is via a Holley Sniper EFI system, ignition is Holley as well and interacts with the Sniper for timing control.

Transmission consists of the AODE with a Trans Go HD2 shift kit, external transmission cooler, an FTI 2800 stall 10" torque converter, and is controlled by a US Shift stand alone controller.

Yes you will notice that the exhaust is goofy as hell and that is exactly the way I want it, against the grain. Exhaust consists of:

- Holley Flowtech 1 3/4" LS (yes as in Chevrolet LS) headers re-drilled to meet the wide bolt holes for the RHS heads
- 3" secondaries into a Vibrant Performance merge collector. Then 4" from the collector to a 4" pretty much straight through muffler and out the side of the front bumper.

Here are a number of pictures from the interior, work performed to the core support, exhaust fab, and engine assembly. Any questions feel free to ask!

Man, I am glad you’re not dead. You’ve got some awesome work done here and I’m happy to see you back around. Sucks about not getting the old user name though.

Thanks guys, I still have yet to actually fire the motor so as soon as she comes alive I'll have a video. Old user name was Firefighter181. I'm retired from the fire service now so name did not sound fitting anymore, I guess I'm ok with starting a new user name. If there is any question to me is actually me, 9838Stang should be able to verify my existence LOL.

Yeaaaaaaaaaa I knew everything looked familiar. That’s awesome man glad you’re back. I remember bringing your old thread back up one day and then noticing most of the pictures and posts were gone and was like wtf. But yea this guy fully supports your exhaust setup.

Yeah I cleared everything out, not trying to deprive anyone here however in that particular case. That came about after an issue with a rather non law abiding stalker neighbor to be honest. That issue has been legally remedied (jail for that person). Perhaps that was the over protective me being over cautious, but that is kind of the short version.

Here is the y-pipe configuration. Pretty nice piece from vibrant performance exhaust.

That's awesome, it looks like you'd have an easy time converting to a turbo setup if that's in your future plans. I think this is the first N/A forward facing header setup I've seen, Looking forward to an exhaust video!

Got some time today to get working on a place to put relays and such. Going to just paint this panel flat black, and mount everything on it. Feels like I have been at a stand still for a few weeks. Been trying to figure out how I want to set up the electrical system for relays, breakers and such.

Incase anyone is curious, I was having a hard time trying to find places to make all of my wiring look good and be accessible. I decided to move the intake over to the drivers side fender and place this panel on the pass. side. with the slight offset of the motor the driver side gives me a bit more room for tubing also based on how the exhaust is set up.

I am retaining and re-purposing the factory fuse box for powering a number of the circuits, and this is loosely taking the place of the CCRM. I wanted something a bit more robust, and being that I have not retained a bulk of the factory wiring this seemed the most simplistic approach.
