v6 5 spd in a 95 gt?

my 95 t-5 in my gt is shot and found a v6 5spd cheap. i wanted to know if this is a direct bolt-on for my gt.are the gear ratios different?will it withstand extra hp slightly from stock.thanks

The bell housing is different.

so that would mean i would have to get the v6 bellhousing to go with the tranny?thanks

you need to up grade the stock trans is at breaking point stock.

right now im running NA-3.73s,BBK Long Tube Headers,h-pipe,e303,TF Street Heat intake,70mm TB,Cold Air Intake,BBK Pulleys.this is my final setup but will probably get the GT-40X heads later down the line, but first need to get my t-5 fix or find another one.thanks.

Don't half step, get your T-5 Rebuilt correctly, you're gonna need the extra strength later anyways. Besides, would it really make you feel like a man to say "95 Ford Mustang GT, V6 Transmission"
