v6 Vortech v1 questions

just came across an ad on Craigslist today somebody is selling a Vortec V 1 supercharger for a 2004 3.9 liter v6. I was wondering if these kits are the exact same and just the intake Inlet are all different?

94-98 have a different discharge pipe and utilize a fmu and a larger fuel pump. But the 99-03 v6 cars have larger injectors pump ecm module

I was wondering if the 04 vortech v1 will work on a 98 with a different discharge pipe

I would mainly worry about the brackets. . You can make your own discharge tube cheap.. fmu goes in the trash any ways..

So from what I hear all of the 3.8 vortech brackets are the same..... The discharge tube and the injectors are different... Only thing I dont like is the fact you have to drill a hole in the oil pan... But any ways I'd love to pick this thing up if it will work...

Punch a hole on the pan do not drill it.. injectors are nothing you can find some anywhere. .
