Hey everyone I have a 95 gt with possible vacuum leak. The hissing sound comes from under my passenger front fender. Car has idle issues and my heat will jump from my vents to my defrost even with it on vent. I took inside fender well out and this is what I found. A brittle vacuum hose which I dont know what it does, it leads into the top of a black box inside my fender. The other end of the hose runs up into the engine bay, to a vacuum T fitting. Any help on what exactly im looking at as far as the hose and the box? Would this be the culprit of my air vent issue and idle issue?

Make sure you use fuel line hose for evap/pressure. Regular vacuum hose will go in nothing flat.

Thanks, good to know! Question - few months back I had her dyno tuned and results were low for my mods. If this line was leaking, could that be the culprit? I dynod at 290hp at the wheels. My 331 should have been atkeast 320rwhp..

Not sure how much it'll effect, but the EVAP system usually works when open throttle is present. You'd notice more at idle when it suppose to be closed, and/or the vacuum line from the intake is the culprit, in which case it's leaking all the time.

Second pic, top line looks like its not seated in the nipple. May want to check and replace all vac line in the fenderwell. The plastic lines get really brittle at this point in their age.
