1995 5.0- t-5 with new spec stage one clutch and ford flywheel
also had to replace the pinion flange with a new ford part
replaced gears with ford 3.73 and all bearings also cobra clutch pack in the diff.

everything is awesome except at around 100 mph I'm getting some vibration feels like through the trans tunnel area.

Does not matter if I'm in gear or not only goes away as speed drops.
Gets worse as speed increases.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Doug

U-joints or drive shaft.

Start with the u-joints as that is pretty common.

Did the large metal dampener that hangs off of the bottom of the diff get tossed when you had the gears installed?

LOL

Of course it did!

I did a lot of research and came to the decision that it was not needed after a gear swap...
Hope I was right.

I just want it to be safe if I take it to the dragstrip next season.

Thanks,
Doug

It's there to dampen vibration but adds unsprung weight. For a drag car I wouldn't have kept it either.
