i was in your same situation a couple months ago.

went with the s-trim. its the cheapest new blower on the market.

you can run the FMU and t-rex with 24lb injectors but going with 39 or 42lb injectors is prefered along with a lightning MAF. it will cost u more than 3k when all is said and done. kit can be had for 3k but then u have to tune it and if you go with inj and such this will add more to the equation. and dont forget that powerpipe!

I think a KB is gonna cost alot more than 3k isnt it guys?

KBs website lists them for 3400. They are cheaper for the 5.0s then the modulars im pretty sure. At least the cobras I know the mod cobras they go for like 6k+.

Thread starter, Blower is the way to go. There are tons of guys with stock everything but exhaust and AODE making 315ish to the wheels. You can always get the HCI later on but the blower will make a very good amount of power even with our nasty stock heads.

yah thats what i thought the kennybell cost for out motors,and if i get that one i will have to get what as far as those little upgrades for it
