Hi everyone, my car has the saddle/black interior, and my steering wheel is more than worn out. It is absolutely shredded. I am looking for (out of a 94-98 only) a black steering wheel, airbag, and steering column covers to replace my existing ones. I specify black because even though the saddle interior originally comes with a saddle steering wheel, I feel black would still look more than acceptable for a factory looking car. If anyone has any of these items, preferably in decent shape, please either PM me, or post what you have here. I don’t have to buy everything from one person, so please post what you have. Thank you.

I just did the same, replaced worn saddle with black wheel, airbag, and column cover. got wheel and column cover in decent shape from eBay for relatively cheap. Found the airbag on airbagcenter.com, not cheap by any means but in good shape.

Good luck on finding those parts in black. My suggestion is to buy an FR500 replica steering steering wheel and use SEM to paint your existing covers and airbag.

Just came back to say I FOUND ONE. It’s a V6 wheel though (not a big deal to me), airbag, and column covers for 150 CAD. How do you like them apples? XD

it really is not that hard to recover your wheel and make it even better than new. Redline leathers makes a kit that it takes you a little time but if you take the wheel off(not that hard) and get comfortable in front of the tv you can sew it on even if you do not have sewing experience. The pics I have seen of the self installed stuff looks just as good as the ones they install.

As for the airbag if you are going to black, just get some satin black paint and be sure to clean the old one well before spraying it. Worst case scenario if/when it does come off you can do it again. The airbag is not hard to remove.

Yup, Mustangs especially in my area. Nobody has left even scraps in the junkyards anymore.
