OK, ive done my research trolling internet boards and have not come to a solid conclusion.

I own a 97 GT and want to buy a set of 15X10 Prostars. What backspacing will be a good fit.

Ive heard a 5.5 and 6.5"

Now remember, 94-98 axles are 29 31/32"s (almost 30"s) while 99-04 are 30 11/16" (almost 31"s).

anyone with a 94-98 running these wheels? what is your backspacing?

I have been told that with 15x10 welds in the rear you will not be able to run aftermarket exhaust, and that you will have to dump...just a heads up. I've always been told

15x8 - 5.5 bs
15x10 - 6.5 bs

Not sure if mine counts as aftermarket exhaust as I have weld in Flows.

6.5 will tuck them in nicely. I will be running 5.5s to bring them out to the edge of the fender more. But if the car squats too much then there might be a problem.
