Well, its time now for the 32v Swap. Now that i have enough cash i can get this thing going. But i wanted to talk Some Cost with you guys.

I have decided i wanna just buy a Used motor, use my Trans and Put it all in my SN95. I want to either a 99-01 Cobra Motor, 03-04 Mach Motor, or 03-04 Termi. Motor.

...But i have some questions. I am doing all the labor so that wont cost a thing. But what motor can i get the cheapest and where from? I wanna spend as little money possible on the motor that is the best priced.

...But where should i get the motor?...and what else do i need to buy for the swap....and what the cost gonna be on parts?

Sorry dude, but 2-3 k is a pipe dream unless you buy a motor that needs a rebuild or its a 96-98 32valve.

This place is in Pa. but it will give you an idea on what it will cost you. In my humble opinion your best bet is to find a junker and take what you need, then sell off the rest of the parts.

I have done alot of looking around because I am going to put a Mach1 engine or a 03/04 Cobra engine in my 1966 coup. An 03/04 Cobra engine will run you about 10-11k, A Mach engine about 7-8K and a 99-01 Cobra engine 5-6k. Good luck. I hope I did not burst your bubble. You can usually get an engine for about 1k less than the complete car.

Foster98GT there is a place just outside Atlanta that has these parts available. I can't remember the name, sorry.

it would be more cost efficient to collect everything and build your own motor. plus for the price you pay for a 4V motor you can build your own forged one.

I will offer this advice, If I were doing a 4valve swap I would get a Mach 4 valve if it were me. They make more power than the 99-01 Cobra's do ( around 15rwhp and 20+ ft lbs ) and thats enough to warrant searching for one in my opinion. Plus you don't have to worry about the " fix " issue with the newer motor. You will be power ahead by going this way compared to being down stock to stock with the Cobra engine.

If ur just bent for a 32V motor then grab a Mark VIII motor, thats what I'm doing.
@minimum for a 99-01 cobra motor is 1,000 @ least what I've seen on ebay. 03 every bit of 3,000. You can find a Mark VIII motor for about $600 and if you can rebuild one you'll find the @ the junk yard all day. I'm not looking for much speed right now so I'm just doing a straight swap, but since I don't have to smog here in Chicago anymore I'll be building a second N/A motor for the streets. I've got a another block here in the garage >:D

I found a 97 Cobra engine on ebay that was a rebuilder. The thing was in pieces. it sold for $311.73. I was crying when I saw it sell for that. I caught the auction to late and it was christmas time.
