Went to the track last night.

first time ever at the strip, ran 15.2 with a 2.1 60 ft and 90 mph trap. that trap has me a little confused, i would think that it should be higher.

on a side note it was a good night because i ran against my bro-in-laws spec-v and roasted him. he ran 16.4. he was crying like a little baby

5 spd, o/r x, weld in flows, pro 5.0 shifter, chip, k&n filter, pullies, i had alot of crap in my trunk i forgot about, also lowerd the rear pressure to 25 psi.

it was in the low 70's so the temp was not a factor

it's gonna be hard to do better than that with street tires. maybe 2.0 but thats it

I pulled 1.90s with Nitto 555's when I FIRST got my 95GT..........you can do it, believe to achieve

your et is from the moment your tire brakes the stage beam to the time it hits the beam at the other end of the track

I think you had a missprint there, if your doing 12.9x in the quarter there is NO WAY your trap is only 89MPH.......unless you hit the brakes at the top of the track :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh:

well the 555's are super sticky tires, my tires don't even come close to those so, i don't think there gonna do a 1.9

The standard Nitto 555 Extremes are just a nice street tire, they do make a drag radial however, but that's a little drastic for your vert situation, you need a few more mods before that kind of traction becomes a necessity.
