taking more and more things apart in the engine bay.
came across this part number: F6SF-12B577-AA.
apparently it is a ford relay control module?
ok fine, but theres a date printed on the sticker of the unit that say 30 Jan 1997. my car is a 1995. so, this thing was a replacement apparently.
what does it do and would there be any reason other than it failing that i would have replaced it? (i think i remember there was a recall a long long time ago to replace something in that area, maybe thats why it was replaced)
also, on the bracket that is holding the item above, there is a little sticker that says 'F4ZF-12581-BB'. google search makes me think it is a 'CCRM'. is that something different from above? or is this number possibly the number from the original unit that was replaced (for whatever reason).
thanks for any info
