kept keepin practicing and it should be all good...yeah i understand i just hated my 3.90 gears and seemed to me cars would start pulling on me near the 1/8 and it wouldnt pull near as hard...so thats why i only use 3.73 and 4.10...4.10 mostly because sn95 are heavy and need that gear to jump then and they are very good in the 1/4 for the gear

did you ever dyno your stang? mine shows a decrease in torque starting at about 3800 rpm and falls off pretty steep at max hp. ive been told thats caused by a lack of flow, that may be why you noticed them pulling on you around the 1/8. i'll be adding a PI intake and cams pretty soon and putting her back on the dyno to see if that helps :thumb: might throw a little 75 or 100 shot to it too, we'll see :dunno:

no i never have had it dynoed...the guy i bought it from had it dynoed when it was bone stock thats it tho..yeah air flow will deff do it...what octane do you use? i run 93 and only 93...yea im waiting till i build my motor more till i throw her on the dyno prolly wait till mustang week to dyno her...they have a dyno at the car show..

Not sure what weight stock with me at 170lbs..and tires were just 245's all around...yokohamas i believe. It was my first time there so I might have been able to go a tenth or so quicker with a better sixty..haven't gotten back since the mod list hasn't grown :(

Johnny is the one that told me about the newer '02 & up MAF. Basically the point of putting one on is there is more things you can tweak during tuning the car. You can't just bolt it on, you have to wait until you are ready to have the car tuned after major mods. Pulleys are a good mod, but I am not using the alternator pulley because with cams I was afraid that I might run into a charging issue.

My car is a 97 S281 convertible 4.6L (N/A) with an automatic. All Saleen did was installed after-cat exhaust and a K&N on this vehicle. I ran
r/t .011
60' 2.221
330' 6.320
1/8 9.693
MPH 70.689
My mph jumps around alot from 70 to 74 mph but my ET only change .03 out of 6 runs.

Hey, I'm new to the board and it looks really cool. My 97 gt 5 sp ran a 15.1 with a custom X-pipe, some 40 series flows, and a steeda short throw. Now I run an average of 14.7 @ around 96 mph. I have put 3.73, steeda cold air intake, trick flow upper plenum, king cobra clutch, fidanza flywheel, and steeda rear swaybar. my driveshaft broke in 3 places so I just ordered a FRPP aluminum driveshaft so I am hoping for a tenth off.

102mph 1/4

I now have 4.30 gears and suspension.
Hopefully to hit very low 13's, wishing for high 12's.
