Been looking at different sites and im highly confused. The one i was looking at is this one:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-XM1-5-Maintainer-1.5-Amp/15140193
But it seems people say its only for small batteries like ATV/bikes/tractors/classic cars

I just need something that will keep my car battery good thru winter. It wont be started or drove during these 6 months and i wont be checking up on it everyday.
And its Chicago so temps can drop to -5 in the garage

thanks

I have that same brand of battery charger and been happy with it so it would not hurt to try it.

So 1.5 amp is good enough for a mustang battery for 6-7 months sitting? If so i will just get this puppy for $15 bucks :)

Side note:
I would recommend starting your car at least ones a month while parked.

I have looked into them a little and considered two(one for each battery) for my system but was looking at this one myself.

http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tende...qid=1411334946&sr=8-1&keywords=battery+tender

I have a few bucks more then most here in the two and have heard good things about this one specifically. The Schumacher brand like I said I have its charger and its held up but I have no news on the battery tender itself.
