Installed my new Exedy lightweight flywheel and Mach 400 clutch with ARP bolts. Now I need to drop the K member and replace the oil pan gasket...

We just installed an Exedy 500 clutch and billet aluminum flywheel in my wife's 05 GT. Still breaking it in but it seems "rev-happier" for sure.

I love the way the clutch feels, very positive engagement and light pedal feel. "Rev-happier" is a great way to describe the flywheel.

I didnt do this today, but its an on going project. Pulled the engine out to swap the problematic leaking oil pan, rear main seal, and intake manifold gaskets. That was going to be the extent of it, but now im going to swap out the TFS 170 fast as cast heads for a pair of competition cnc ported 205 11R heads, along with a TFS box R intake along with 80 lb fuel injectors. A few more things will be changed out, but those are the biggest.

Had to clean up the Mach 1 after all the rain and pollen around here recently!

Quick wash and new layer of sealer applied.

I used a roll of painters tape as a cup holder because most of my interior is in my living room. So technically I added a custom cup holder. Sorry, No write-up.

Relocated the power window controls from the door to the center console, removed the passenger side window control, and all of the central locking and power mirror wiring.

Removed 3lb of wiring alone from the door harnesses.

Started debating on buying a V6 with no rust/body/subframe/torque box issues to swap everything from my 99GT over to the v6 and part out everything on the v6 i dont want/need.

Then once $$$ starts flowing mo betta', send the 99 shell to the chassis shop for a tube chassis big tire setup.

I can buy TLC needed v6's for around $500-800 in my area, ill spend atleast that much in tools and sheetmetal repairs on the 99.

Looked at it through the window again and decided to get back to working on it. It's time to move forward and install the massive suspension parts stash I've been hoarding. Also going to rip into the brakes again and start the hydroboost swap.

Water pump, belt, headlights were falling off so installed the replacement adjusters, installed the missing parking brake boot (this was annoying), and put an OEMish shift knob on after redeing the shifter
