It's been a long while since I posted on here. Been busy with my F150, and haven't done much to the Mustang. This weekend, though, I installed an Aerostar aluminum drive shaft. I also dropped the tank again. I'm still fighting a fuel heating and tank pressurization problem, and think the stock fuel return design may be contributing since it sprays fuel back into the tank right next to the pump, and aerates it. If those bubbles are getting sucked into the pump, it could be cavitating and heating up. I added a length of fuel line to feed the returned fuel to the bottom of the tank. I don't have high hopes, but it was simple and free to try.

Found and fixed my a.c. leak. Cobra is my first ever car with a.c.. since I was 15. It is nice. Also side markers sealed after a day of drying.

Changed a much needed to fuel filter, shit was black coming out if it. Car has a bit more pep, also running some gas cleaner through to clean up all the crap that was coming out if the filter. It looked like straight mud.

Nothing new on the car, but a lot on the daily...

New windshield two weeks ago. Then built a new exhaust for it and put it on that Saturday. I cut the factory exhaust out from in front of the Y pipe, then added an X pipe with two Pypes m80's with turndowns for now.

The next Tuesday I took out all of the interior minus dash and door panels and gave it a major cleaning, then bought a set of Rugged Ridge floor mats to put back in it. This past Saturday I went to a U-Pull-It yard and scored a set of leather seats and center jumpseat for $150.

Brought them home and cleaned them then started on the swap process.

Before: Old worn out, torn, and stained cloth seats. So hard to keep them clean.

The new seats I bought were out of a 4 door, so the seat belts were mounted on the B pillar instead of next to the headrest like on single cab and extended cab trucks....plus the new seats were also power tracks on the driver side whereas mine are manual. The quickest solution was for me to swap the lower part of the seat from the new seats to my old ones, then take the factory covers off my seat backs, and swap the leather covers onto them.

Only had to cut a small slit in each seat cover for the seatbelt part. It's done now and everything works and fits just as it did before but looks a ton better. Need to take some better pics but here's what I have now.
