Over the past week I've been working on my '00 taurus DOHC wagon. AC compressor went bad, the bottom radiator hose rubbed the engine cradle, and eventually wore a hole in it. I replaced that specific hose, one of the top hoses, thermostat, serpentine serpentine belt, AC compressor, AC lines o-rings, and went over all the other hoses while I had it all apart. Ford's SOP would be to drop the cradle, but I pulled all the metal coolant hoses, fans, fuse panels, battery and tray, and a few other small components. Hell of a lot easier that way. After work tomorrow I will be charging the AC system, but thank the good Lord she is put back together again lol.1551144656930377522415.jpg

Since it says car I think it's safe to mention both vehicles. Granted this was on Saturday, but I changed the oil in the Cobra. Then my son and I changed the spark plugs in the wife's Audi. That was surprisingly easy.

Then today I swapped out the failing screen on my Aeroforce as well as changed the color. Let's see how long it lasts this time.

Treated the cabin to some paint, and before anyone asks, yes, my seat is mounted 3" into the transmission tunnel...

You answered the what but not the why.

Thanks to the top half of the SN95 being much narrower than the bottom half when you put in a proper rollcage it gets entirely too close to your helmet/head, plus the head restraints on my Sparco Pro-ADV were almost touching the door glass.

When I build cars I like to put myself as far away from the spots where the outside tries to become the inside :)

Fitted the stock CD Player and tape player into the car.

There's a separate thread in the "Electrical and Stereo" section on this, but see below for photo of the finished result.
