Yep! My GT came with a Pro 5.0. Shifted great, but the handle was too stubby and straight. Got a Tri-ax from a member here (thanks again, man!), and it is so much nicer to drive.

I miss that feeling of a direct shifter too. I’ve been driving mustangs with remote mounted shifters too long lol but now with the trans making noise thats not going to happen any time soon.

One of the final things I wanted to do to the 95 Convertible was add a styling bar. Finished that today. Wife bought me some opal gray floor mats as well and they look nice as well. mustang 2.jpg Mustang 1.jpg

Im learning this as I go LOL. Gotta find a way to break the Differential fill bolt loose so I can check fluids in future. Just have a few things to finish up. It is a blast to drive.
3/8 ratchet with a 3-4 inch extension for the filler and to check

Yea mines kinda rusted shut. Tried to get garage to try and fix but they were scared. So soaked it in PB Blast and let it set. Lets see what it does. Got friction modifier to add to synthetic i put in

soak it every chance you are under the car till you can budge it
if not you might find yourself using a small torch bottle butane heat it up then try it

Yea that's what I was hoping the garage would do. Everyone is so scared to work on these old cars LOL. Couldn't get them to change the trans fluid said it wasn't dirty enough LOL

I'm 52 and learned in automotive class in school as well. May just flush it and do it myself. Just don't have a lot of garage space at moment LOL. I like the older non computer stuff. This one has been fun at times to get running and learn.

Automatic the only thing i don't like LOL
best way would be is to flush it out with fresh oil change it and the filter
I used to use the transmission lines to do the transfer
from fresh to used fresh oil in one bucket , and a empty bucket for the old

Yea last estimate from garage was like $500 bucks to do a flush. I might buy the parts and have them do labor LOL. Not sure how long its been on this tranny and fluid is kinda brown so just want to clean it out and put new in.

Only thing i wish i could change is the shifter handle with out changing the whole shifter. The Hurst one looks interesting just not sure LOL. Then there's the light on the shifter. Wanna change it to go with the blue LEDs i put in cluster.
