What I did today (last night)…
Just got the call that my shocks and struts are in! Hopefully finish the front and start on the rear tonight. T-minus 5 days until Betty Blues first track day!

Alright! It’s all done just needs alignment and brake flush. Oh, and a good wash too! T minus 4 days until track day!
Also, when I was bedding in the brakes the steering was semi loose. Can this be fixed with alignment or is this just something I have to deal with?

It’s been my experience that the steering rack bushings go bad causing sloppy steering. That and play between the two halves of the steering shaft where it telescopes.
Already posted details in Road Racing section.... but this weekend is a big fat nothing.
Spent 3 nights after work putting on springs, struts, shocks, rotors, pads, changing fluids and plugs, RBF600.... all that to be told by Discount that one of the wheels was damaged in shipment.
it felt so right after alignment too. My shop did a great job getting it in order for me.
Oh well... Until next time I guess

Jet washed and vacuumed her ready for the Petrolheadonism Live show tomorrow at Knebworth House. Guest of honour, Gas Monkey himself Richard Rawlings. First UK visit for years apparently.
Am arriving in convoy with the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain so should be plenty there. And it's only about 6 miles from home!
Will post pics over the weekend.

Day 1 completed - really good show.
Some images below. Well over 100 Mustangs in attendance, but most being the new ones (and right-hand drive so don't count!). Only 3x SN95's spotted though, including mine, as below.
And a couple of Richard Rawlings too. Got photos on the first time he was on stage )about 15 feet in front of me) but my rotten phone battery was dead when he came on again - spent half an hour or so talking about Gas Monkey garage and took a few questions from the audience. Shame the battery was dead as I was front-row again and even closer than before.
Back tomorrow where he's going to be doing the rounds and hopefully seeing everyone so will see what happens there!

Changed the head panel out, swapped to new fender hardware and finally lined the front end up.
That and I broke one of my headlights Like I needed an excuse to buy something else.
