Put acid etch primer on my engine block, front cover, transmission, and intake manifold today. Tomorrow I will be putting down some base coat and clear coat, then getting ready to build both of them.

Today I poured a bottle of Gumout fuel system cleaner in the GT. Second bottle I have given Opal since we adopted her.
Seafoam!!

There is nothing wrong with Gumout.
But Seafoam far exceeds in performance in my own experience!
Next time you feel she's ready for another shot, consider Seafoam. I think it'd make Opal purr.

Just a thought buddy!

today I started pulling all the wiring off of the top of the motor from the ecu. I was waiting for the harness for a while and then right as it came in it got SUPER cold. As much as I do not like to I am going to have to take the upper intake back off again. I have been dreading the ecu portion of the wiring replacemant as I am sure this will not be fun.

I have used Seafoam for years in all of my small engines. It works fine. Just wanted to try this product.

Right on!
I do like Gumout, but I usually use it unconventionally.
I have an antique Pennzoil bottle I fill with it and use it for cleaning the gears on the machine heads (tuners) of guitars I repair. Good for sticker goo too. I kinda like the scent over WD-40 also.

Let us know if you can tell a difference!
(Actually, if I'm not wrong, I believe Gumout costs a little less, so there's that..)

Scott, hope the ECU wiring goes fairly smooth.
Um...does it seem like it gets easier and quicker every time you unwrench the intake?
Yeah, I detest working in freezing temps, it kills my production as my fingers get cold.
Crank up that Little Buddy heater!

I did the fog light mod where you swap around two wires on the connector inside the center console. Now I have fog lights when I turn on the parking lights and they stay on when I switch to high beams.

I blew the pic of your ride up on my big screen.

I want a 3' poster of this pic SO BAD!

It took me a long last look, and then another last look to convince my finger to click out of the picture.
vtchopperdude, your ride is amazing.
