These 2 bolts will not go through the 2 holes on the exhaust flange

I am going to oblong the holes just enough to go through

Its crazy the 98 is a bit bigger than the mach1 exhaust manifolds
First time for evey thing

Car was smacked. Door is a little crumpled and was at least 3cm out in lining up with the body's lines.

1. DO NOT THINK DOOR PINS OR STRIKER PLATE ADJUSTMENTS ARE GONNA FIX THIS! There is no quick soln...

2. YOUTUBE VIDDY'S SUCK AND BLOW AND LIE!!!!!!!!

3. THE ONLY WAY THIS WAS EVER GOING TO BE PRESENTABLE WAS/IS THE HARD WAY!

I had no choice but to remove the driver fender and work on it properly. I finally got the door loosed and propped up with a floor jack and a jackstand.

I think this is a really good job for no money invested on a body shop. Lines meet up beautifully.

While off, I cleaned off and wire wheeled any iffy spots at the fender well; coated with a rust preventive. I do need to get some speed nuts and new horns. Horns cuz they were rusted crap and I got them really clean and clear-coated. Went to put the horns on and it turns out I broke the both of them - apparently they are best left alone cuz they can break the connection to the voice coils suuuuuper eeeezy. That's what my electrics Guy told me.

So, this is two days work and now I have to stop because of some rain and poss lightening. No rush; I'll have it done by Wednesday.

Did a lot to the newest Stang. Removed rear bubbled window tint-PITA. Buffed headlights. Vacuumed interior. Removed spoiler. Ordered new smoked LED 3rd brake lamp. Cleaned debris from engine bay.

While I was in the engine bay topping off the little details for the Yote swap I decided to take the recent parts I got from McMaster-Carr and customize the OEM strut tower brace, mainly just to be able to take off the engine's decorative cover without having to completely unbolt the STB every time.

Looks good. Are you going to repaint it or keep it the way it is?
Oh it’s absolutely being repainted, previous owner did a botch job throwing primer on it. The original color is Atlantic Blue but I’m thinking of going with Sonic Blue. I’m not a huge fan of Atlantic Blue.

My last 00 gt was Atlantic blue, it’s a nice color but sonic is a great color too.
