Drove it today. Did a few pulls on my new e85 tune and definitely now have a need for tires

can be a good thing and a bad thing...lol..$$

I missed out on a set not too long ago. I've got some 10.5s to put on just no tires yet

New front brake hoses, just rubber. Would have preferred SS but found the rubber hoses from Sweden, SS would have to order from USA.
The ignition/starter switch has been hard to turn so opened the steering scroud and sprayed some WD40 to the plastic sliding actuator arm. 21 year old grease there was dry and hard!

Dragged out the original short block to my car and started cleaning it up, cleaned the pistons. Bores, and head mating surfaces.



Cleaned the heads, checked for valve leaks with washer fluid. Not a drop in a half hour. Think its good...



Soaking the followers and lifters in oil.



Now i need to locate a spare romeo timing covers, valve covers and rear main seal plate.
