Tested the new hydraulic clutch setup today. I think we have a winner! Only a basic test, motor off.

In gear, pedal down, rear wheels spin freely. In gear, pedal up, wheels are deadlocked and everything you got isn't enough to move them at all.

Tomorrow I fire her up. Proof will be in the pudding. Can't wait!

Got a new-to-me amp to replace the failed POS NVX. Alpine MRV-F450 5-channel. Bought it off a member over at S197.

Nothing for a few days now.

Temperature here hasn't gone over about 1 degree since Sunday, snowfall Sunday night which isn't clearing and the car is basically a block of ice...

So that is how she's been since Monday when I got the worst of the snow off.

Just got more of that off as well.

Rain due tomorrow so hopefully will wash it away and I can give her her weekly run.

The sun is finally here and doing its job though as you can see on the bonnet, sorry, hood.

You don't park it for the winter?
What do they use on the roads for ice over there?
Sand? Salt? Brine?

Naw I keep using it weekly - had cars crap out on me before not regularly running them. It's clearing well now finally so will definitely be able to take her out tomorrow.

Grit of some kind - not sure what it is. I do know that a decent wash will be done not long after running her though...

It's all the salt/crap that gets under the car that does all the damage. Rusty bolts/brake lines etc suck to deal with.
It's great that you definitely put the car to good use though

I started her up today, put her in gear and tested the clutch. It's badass.

Going in tomorrow again to accomplish some finer details and I'm really optimistic that I can actually take her for a very brief spin just around the parking lot with a video (long overdue).

Big fan of old school audio gear getting used these days. That stuff is getting hard to find, and in good shape can still keep up with modern electronics.
I aquired a second mint one from the same guy circa 1988-90 it was installed in the bedroom of a stainless steel paneled 1960's road bus. This will be my back up. Also completed the mach 360 tweeter mod with bass eliminators.

Erased the to do board (pic) and updated it to reflect the next round after Xmas and 2023. I will post up the new one shortly and edit this post. Promised the Mrs i would redo the staircase (only 12 steps) over the Holidays. On block leave per say for 24 days. Danny

Updated Board. 4-8 weeks ETA on the Big ticket Mod. Also should say termiator X with custom harness not holley sniper.

Drove to breakfast and back home. Getting ready for after holiday ideas. One in the works/planning stage now and the other's are next. Just too damn old and cold to turn on the heater in the garage to work. :p
