Picked up 18 foot of 1 Oct cable to run to the trunk from under hood
Not my car
About once every 2 weeks I pass by this car on Jack stands
You cant really see the slop on that concrete slab
But it dose slop pretty good
He finally just put tires on it
I would be scared to death working in a situation like that on this car or any other car in that position
Be safe use level ground solid ground something secure View attachment 23786
Wow, you hurt my feelings. We had (key word) a 1981 and it was o.k., but then sold it and bought a new '04 Z06 which I had for 10years. Light years in difference between them for sure. However, I really like the '02 with Coyote a lot more!!Probably sloping under the weight of shame of holding that POS up.
ah now I have been thinking for years that somebody needs to take one of those body styles of vette and have some fun with it. I bet with a couple of tasteful body mods and the right wheels/stance and people would wonder why they never did that.Probably sloping under the weight of shame of holding that POS up.
I'm not much of a chevy guy at all
I have worked for dodge chevy and ford
I'll take a ford all day easy to work on
I suggested that on the Jag forum I'm also on as I had many plans one day and none of them happened.Maybe we should have a thread of "what did you NOT do to your car today".....
Elongated the lower bolt hole of the driver side strut more inboard where it mounts to the spindle because of excess camber reading on the alignment machine, even with C/C plates maxed toward positive camber. Went from -2.5* to -1.5* which I guess is ok. Also got a 0.00 thrust angle for the IRS rear which is also at -1.5* camber.
Things are looking good.
