I accomplished basically nothing even though I spent the last 3 hours prying and fighting a damn control arm. I should have just admitted defeat and bought a different brand. The bushing don’t line up with the k member and I remember this from when they were in my 94 but I decided to try and save the 200 bucks and reuse them.
1 bolt is in and I can’t get the other one. Makes me want to torch the car and find a new hobby.

Got the Powerstroke purring again.

Been scratching my head and been super worried about some bad blow-by I was experiencing. Ended up tracking down an injector that was not contributing as it should, pulled it, and found that the copper washer had blown out and trashed the injector. Had a good suspicion that was the issue.

Finally got around to messing with it today and while cleaning the injector cup out, I noticed a SECOND copper washer chilling. Took a lot of effort to get it out, but there’s the source of all the issue.

New injector in, running like it should, and no blow by.

Got to finish up a few little details and get the injector coded but should be rolling coal tomorrow.

Tried to fit the new window motor.

I say tried as the new one is not the same size - even though sold as a like for like replacement. It's wider and doesn't drop into the regulator recess so can't make contact...

Well that just flat out sucks! I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of your call to the supplier. “Like for like “, my arse!

Put the 'new' Holley oil pan in, plus the K-member and made some heat shields for the motor mounts to hopefully keep them from melting like the Wicked Witch of The West.

I finally got the control arm installed. It took a hacksaw, prybar, sledgehammer , grease and a jack. But I got it done. Ended up cutting part of the sleeve inside of the bushing to make it fit, the pictures show far off it was with the rear bushing lined up.
I bought them from CJ pony and I doubt I will buy anything from them again. I don’t know if I’m allowed to review things on this forum but I’m definitely not happy with their branded control arms, I haven’t reached out to them because I already beat up and cut the things, plus they are installed.
