Started working on the passenger side LCA and the damn rear bolt was rusted on so bad that even after a liberal spritzing of WD-40 over multiple days the knuckle attachment for my impact gun snapped in two. Sonic Tools have a great warranty, but will probably be at least 24 hours until I have the replacement. Set backs.

I went through something similar with my LCA. I had to go in there with a sawzall/grinder to cut the bolts

I was able to get the rear bolt off straight without the knuckle, but no way I can get the front bolts out without it. So car is just hanging out up in the air until I get the knuckle. Taking the opportunity to switch out the exhaust system. The flowmaster muffler was clearly making contact with the driveshaft as there is a line on the driveshaft where the muffler case hits. Going to switch to SLP LM1 to get some clearance.

paris dear god why?! I have been there and I had the typical American response that even the waiters were rude to us. I did a little more on my wiring and left the battery on the charger/maintainer all day. I wish I could just throw the wiring in there but I have to have it labelled, techflexed, taped and heat shrinked/tied down and lookin perty.

Brilliant city. Been there many times. Back again in 5 weeks for a day trip on the Eurostar.

I've never experienced the rudeness that people mention on any visit.

I got the electrical tonneau cover working on the truck
With the remote control
It's all aluminum self locking
And self unlocking push of a button

I did not realize the dam thing was remote controlled and electrical at first
I was manually trying to get it to work lol

Make sure it's not the ebrake bracket rubbing the DS. That's usually the culprit

You may have to elaborate more on the install, as I'm thinking of changing mine out on the Harley F150 too. And pics.

Just checked, e-brake bracket is all good and further up the shaft more even with the middle/front of the flow tubes. This rub is clearly happening at the front of the muffler case on the passenger side. I didn't like the Flowmasters anyways and taking it out will make life easier on the control arms. My replacement impact knuckle and SLP catback showed up yesterday so I should be able to get back on it tonight.

Post a sound clip of the lm 1s. I have a set sitting on the shelf. Not sure exactly what muffler will remain on the car yet. Currently have a set of Kooks race mufflers on it but unsure on them yet. Also have a set of bassanis and another set of flow masters. Might be playing musical mufflers for a bit lol

I really like my SLP LM 1's . Just the right amount of back pressure for the awesome sounds they have.

I will but it's probably going to be a while. I decided to basically knock out everything mechanically at this point. Suspension, Fuel System, T56 Swap, Cams. Might even throw a blower in on top of it. I just hate taking things apart twice so...while I'm in there. Hopefully can knock it all out within a couple months and get a good video of the sound. My setup will be Bassani Mid Lengths and catted X with SLP LM1s with MHS Cams. I have an 03 Cobra blower in my garage as my original plan was to throw that on a tork tech kit but I think I'm going to unload that and go with a Jonse R281 Whipple 2.3 setup. Seems like a much cleaner/easier install as you don't need to flip the alternator and it works with a stock hood.

So, I've never heard of this company before and tried to look them up with no luck. Do you have a website or link? It looks very nice and I agree with flipping the Alt.

The bulk of the info is on his Facebook page and YouTube.

The long and short of it is he started with the old Saleen kit and modified the intake manifold to fit a bigger/better intercooler and swapped in a 2.3 Whipple and the latest iteration now uses the bigger crusher inlet instead of the small 75mm inlet. The new inlet is designed to take a bullitt Throttle body and CAI, it uses the stock GT throttle cable and the alternator doesn't need to be flipped. It's right under $6k for the complete kit.

So basically you get a high quality twin screw blower without the small inlet restriction, bypass valve issue or alternator flip of the KenneBell kit and without the alternator flip, new hood and throttle cable requirement of the Tork Tech kit.

It's the most well thought out positive displacement kit for the 2v. I would say the only downside at this point is I don't think you can bump up to the 2.9 or 3.0 Whipple yet. If he figures that part out KenneBell and Tork Tech are pretty much out of the 2v business.
