Getting ready for Laguna Seca this weekend. Have to mount GoPro's and do final clean out and clean window (just have one). ;)

That’s freakin beautiful, Weendoggy! My ‘95 is the closest I’ll ever come to a “Cobra”. But this… this is amazing! Got a couple minutes to share some details about it?? Including “why 534”?

Thanks. Does get heads to turn and rice rockets to "attempt" to keep up. ;) Running a 347 Big Bore Boss Block w/HP Terminator (not X), TKO500, 3:27 ratio (launches not burn rubber), Koni adj. all 4, 500/550 springs (F/R), sway bars, Cobra brakes w/Carobotech XP10/8 (F/R), IRS and P/S. I plan to take it to a dyno this year after the Crank Trigger install and just because I want to know. Street tires Continental Extreme Sport 2, 245/40-17 F, 285/40-17 R. Track tires Nitto 01, 245/45-17 F, 275/40-17 R.

Number is the thing that always pops up with the wife and me. It has been that way for 25yrs! Stop a TV program 5:34, check the clock 5:34, sporting event time-outs 5:34, picture number taken at events, yep 534. On and on it goes. So, I thought the best number would be...534. I run that on both cars.

Thanks for asking, Glenn

A few pics from Laguna Seca. Fun day, but really had to work at the engine tuning. Each session was an eye opener, especially the first one when I gave a point-by to a BMW between T2-T3 (very short chute) to my left, and he must've thought I meant my "other left"! WTF dude! He put two wheels off D/R and I swerved left to give him room or we both would be in a mess. Good thing somebody was paying attention, and it wasn't him.
Most of these drivers had race prepped cars and they were quick. Miata's were fun, I gave them point-bys then chased them down. I did o.k. in the low :50's, but many were in the low 40's!! Still all in all a great day.

A couple laps 'round Laguna in the Cobra. Needs more accel. tuning, but much better now. Nice to run the limits of the car, but more me! Moving to a crank trigger setup now and will have that project on YT when done. You can hear the issue a few times during shifting, etc. where the engine just bucks. Early in the day, it was much worse. Not something you really test on open roads. Here's a shot of where I spent most of the day...

Not today but for a week. Took a trip to visit relatives in Finland. Stockholm to Turku and back Helsinki to Stockholm on ferry. The boats are huge! Some 3000 km:s, the car worked like a clockwork. Also got MM FLSC:s welded in while there, had been waiting for me 2 years. Upper and lower rear control arms in trunk for me to put in later. Turned over 90000 miles during way home. Don´t know why the 2 first pictures are sideways?tempImage0Bqm2i.pngtempImageaIRwWv.pngtempImageI9TGmC.png

Tightened the damned bolt for the starting battery ground point. Even though it was tight with a 1/4" drive, it wasn't enough. Used a 3/8" drive and it fired right up. So turns out the car never had starter heat soak issue, and that sounds a bout right because I double wrapped the longtubes years ago.
