Ten times braver than me. Don't think I could ever do anything that envolved.

You’d be surprised how simple most electrical components on vehicles are. Especially the older they are.

Even some complex systems at work are at their core very simple. Like this:

It’s basically a big ass alternator.

Got bored and wanted an engine compartment light that didn't suck, so I made this little thingy. Waterproof and only draws 0.5 to 1 amp, too. If enough people are interested, I can make a batch for sale (Dr. Pepper not included).

Ok, this is really cool and I’ve long thought about doing something similar.

Race car update: Pulled the front spring poly isolators out, pulled some evap shit out of the passenger side fender, detached the EGR (still need to cap off and fully remove from header), swapped to the BBK 78mm throttle plenum, installed DBA front rotors and Raybestos Street Performance pads. That's another 4.3lbs off the nose.

My kid's car update: Drained oil (only 3 quarts), coolant (radiator lower mounting studs are too long and someone welded a bunch of it), and transmission fluid (little burnt). Also fixed the "wiring" for the battery were someone thought worm clamps were acceptable to hold power cables coming off the battery.

Just have to unbolt the transmission, AC compressor and power steering, then motor one can come out. The $500 parts car has paid for itself three times over already and I haven't even pulled the rear end or SCT4 out yet. Semi contemplating using it as a test bed for a rear mounted turbo project. Semi tempted.

That is one helluva coolant fan. Never thought I'd see anyone do a remote mount like that, but I guess it could be effective when it's exposed to that much airflow.
HA! That was for the fuel vapors that were choking me out after my kid pulled the rail/injectors. I hate the smell of old pump gas!

I didn’t take any pictures but I was able to score a pretty much complete parchment interior to swap into my 01. A previous owner swapped most panels to dark charcoal then painted them and the dash black. Needless to say, it looks like crap. The car originally came with parchment anyway so I’ll swap it in then sell the old parts to make some of my money back.

Oh and this one has the new Speedmaster intake, which is pretty much a reintroduced typhoon intake. Surprisingly, I feel like it is a little quicker than one with a stock pi intake. It definitely pulls harder above 3k rpm’s anyway.

Stand by, I just got one to check fitment, just because I can. If it fits well and seals, I'll most likely leave it. Not sure if I'll keep the "snap clamp" or go with a worm drive for both sides of the short hose.
Finally got the Coyote back together. Had a family emergency. I went with the Dorman aluminum part just to see how good/bad people have said it is. For me, fitment was good and the hose was cut to length as it should. I opted to put worm drive clamps on instead of the crimp-style and had no issues. You want to test fit the hose clamp to insure how you can tighten it and clear objects. I did test fit it prior to final install.

The Dorman part came with an O-ring, even though it said they don't, and did get extra ones just in case. My PBH part looks good all connected now after install. I advise to remove the thermostat housing when putting on the "T", whether its a stock one or not. Changed my soggy belts while there and topped off with coolant, got up to temperature and then did an additional pressure test. No problems and no leaks. So, I'll see how this goes. I did keep my stock "T" part I purchased in case I needed to change it back.

Got so see my first double gasket. They used the factory style gaskets and then a doorman with it's integrated gaskets. This would explain the horrible intake and coolant leak. Facepalm 5000. The intake is filled with coolant. I can't get over how retarded people are.1000005522.jpg
