When I did my 4.6, it's much easier to get it started a thread or so, then bolt the valve on, then tighten the nut(s). If you can loosen the other end, even better. Make sure to use antisieze!Put on a new EGR… but having a bit of a struggle threading the 1” nut back on.
Yep, that’s the procedure I’m going to do today. Starting from scratch (removed entirely); then start threading the 1”nut (with anti-seize); then the gasket on the studs; then the washers and nuts in the studs; then alternate tightening each 3 up so it aligns itself to where it’s going to live! When I did my 4.6, it's much easier to get it started a thread or so, then bolt the valve on, then tighten the nut(s). Corbeau reclining sport seats. What seats are those?
I could NOT get the nut to start threading. Removed it and measured it compared to the original that came out and the replacement (Wells brand) is narrower, which explains why it just kept spinning (yes, I tried it in both directions!) and not biting/grabbing a thread. Sending it back and shopping for a MotorCraft 1st choice or Dorman 2nd choice if Motorcraft not available.Yep, that’s the procedure I’m going to do today. Of course reattach the connection and hose line.
Where did you learn to make your own stuff. I have an ender 3 but I just print things others have made.

It’s 31 years old so I figured it was time. I researched and it suggested every 10 years or 100,000 miles and also trying what I can to help the poor mpg.Why are you changing the EGR valve?
That right there is what they call a "Plug-N-Chug"
My area is saying anywhere from 12-24".They can't figure out what we're going to get either. Started out as double-digit snow totals, now we're in for "several inches" of snow and sleet with some ice (freezing rain) thrown in for fun. We likely won't know until it's happening one way or the other.
