how hard were they to get out up front? I had to take my rears out to move them to the new brackets and I thought they would break before they came out.
Oh they broke, lol. I had to use the star bit on a screw driver extension and a pair of vice grips to get the bolt loose. Then had to ultimately remove the caliper and rotor, then after breaking off the back side of the sensor I was able to punch the rest out the front. What I anticipated being a 30 min job, became an hour and 30 minutes but the wife took it in pretty good stride.

I spent a little time cleaning it up and now for 3 days in a row that I went for a drive, driving it instead of waiting for parts is a lot more fun. Tonight I realized I needed to adjust the idle air hold down just a hair after adjusting the TB a while back. Its getting up to 220 too fast, well since it rarely use to get over 200 but the fan will be here wed and its still cool enough to go for short drives. After the fan is installed I will get an alignment and then its time to break in the 6 speed.

I got the new fan today and figured that moving from 1350 cfm to 2400 could not hurt anything and I was right. IT stayed below 195 the entire drive where it had been pushing 220 on the same drive half way through. I also got under the car and adjusted the clutch and now it is shifting butter smooth from one gear to the next. It still seems strange to put it in 6th but at least I wasn't fighting to get in reverse this time so it felt more natural. Its ready for an alignment and then to break in all 6 gears.

Went to the track this morning. The heat extractor did it's job and looks like it belongs with the hood now painted black. Then, this afternoon I installed some Raxiom smoked LED taillights.

Sucked some water out of the back from the torrential rains we had on Wednesday.

And then spotted this on the spoiler...

I actually took mine out of the garage to run up to the post office real quick. On the way back one of my gear head neighbors was outside and I asked if he wanted to go for a ride and he said sure. We just took a quick spin, and go figure the car heard me saying its running nice, staying cool, and 2 mins later it starts to sound different. I am not sure what it means yet, other than I should have just SHUT up....

I finally finished painting my rad cover. It had a couple of scratches/marks on it that drove me nuts after the killerglass install so I went over it with a black pearl paint and then the letters in green/red. Then once it was installed, I cleaned up the engine bay for some pics
