Yes, there was some interference with the wheels. They have a slightly raised center section where the two halves mate, as you can see above. The trailing edge of the caliper hit the wheels but not the leading edge.

Worked on finishing the final pieces of my 5.4 2v vert to find the cam sensor was broken (guts fell out with the magnet in pieces). No wonder I was chasing a poorly running engine.

Had the coolant crossover bypass outlet welded closed, sold the Eaton swap, traded the uber heat exchanger for another 14" brake kit with Brembo calipers & GT500 rotors, bolted on my carbon fiber T1 wing and bought an inline thermostat holder.

Was able to take the 3 prong power ports and morf them to my 2 prong power ports, so no splicing of the harness.
Need to find a fog light switch for the 04 radio bezel and a better condition convertible top switch.

Started wrapping the new EEC harness today which is a combination of Mustang, Miata and Mazda 323 running a Link G4+ ECU.

I got some stuff done today, would have got more done if I didn't do it 2x. My upper intake is a biatch to put on because of the super charger pipe and the crap under it so I normally find someone to help me put it on. Dad is just a week out of his hip replacement and my wrenching buddy is busy so I decided to try it on my own. Wrestled it on, got 2 of the 8 bolts in before I realized I forget the gasket between the upper/lower. It went on much faster the 2nd time as I found an easier way so I can say I learned something. Hopefully I can finish up connecting everything and see about turning the key.
Walked past it and shot it a dirty look...
