Looking over my engine bay to do some general maintenance and I came across a... thing. I'm guessing it has something to do with the A/C system? The line appears to be open (no cap) and a green fluid is inside with tiny bubbles. What is it?

Is there suppose to be a cap on it? It looks pretty dirty inside. I want to do an A/C delete here soon anyway. Should I worry about it?

If ur deleting it then why worry no biggie. I mean it doesn't mess with anything outside of the ac system and yes they should have a cap but 99% of cars that have their ac serviced somehow doesn't have them

I wrecked it over a month ago and the A/C condenser got pretty bent up. It's basically being held in place by zip ties lol. I don't really have a need for it since I track the car. I guess the additional airflow would be nice too

Yeah. I have a repair thread on it. "Wrecked 98' project" is the name of the thread. Nothing crazy. I'm pretty novice to all car things related but I took the opportunity to start learning things.
