Depends where you want the torque. 5.0 has it all down low while the 4.6 has it up top.

I vote for the 5.0. Especially if it's a fox motor with the forged pistons than it's hands down 5.0 ftw

do you think i should dump the 4.6 and do a 5.0 conversion...........? or stay 4.6? its time for a new engine anyways

you would pry be better off just sticking with a 4.6. your gonna have a lot of $$ into the conversion that could go towards a built/boosted 4.6. i do honestly prefer the 5.0 but swapping it in a 96 is just not worth it. just go buy a 94-95 if ya want a 5.0 :dunno:

well everything around here is just over priced, rat bagged, or stolen recovery. its hard to pick "the one" :-[

i spent over a year looking for a stang and finally found the one i have now. Honestly it wasnt the perfect car and i pry paid a little more than i should have but i got it and i am happy. it is pretty hard to find a nice stang around here as there are not many around but just keep looking
