What the title says what is the relay looking thing on the cooling fan on a 95 mustang called? Can you bypass it?

I think you'll need to upload a picture. There is nothing on a stock fan that looks like a relay. There was a recall in the mid '90s dealing with an overheating fan motor issue. You may be looking at the fix. I don't recall the details though.

the CCRM is next to the fan and is mounted next to the expansion tank.
If you were electrically gifted you could wire in individule relays elswhere in the car. But IMO you'd be better off relocating it if all your doing is cleaning up the engine bay
