What is this vacuum hose?

Does anybody know what this vacuum hose goes to (it just disappears in the fender) and if it is mission critical? It comes in to a port right behind the throttle body.
The hose is pretty old and porous.

I'm on the hunt for vacuum leaks and I'd like to unplug it to test if this is the culprit.
Also looking for a parts number if available.

Most likely to the charcoal canister.

agreed. You can't really check vac lines for cracks like this unless you just replace them all. While that isn't a bad idea at this time you can also get a cigar and smoke test the lines.
