Take a look at the pics. Typical exhaust leak sound or a rattle from the metal gaskets that might sound like a loose valve train? I first thought I needed lash adjusters. I did. They were smoked. Swapped them out and not much changed. Timing kit was next. Chain wore through into the actual adjuster. The whole motor was quieter after the change, but the rattle was still there. It doesn't do it until it's warmed up and then it's very consistent. Just light throttle pressure and you hear it. ~1,800 - ~2,200 rpms. You can also start to hear it at an idle. Wail on it rowing through the gears and it goes away until you slow down. Power is still decent with no missing. You can't hear it cruising at 70-75 until you press on the gas a little. It's not a rod knock. Not detonation, but could be a piston rattle sound.
Can't hear the noise in this one. Only tail pipes.
