What mods are done to the car? Stock or built rear? I would run 14 psi and start at 3500 rpm. See if it bogs..if it does..move it up.

So I guess it's a stock rear..I would not launch much past 3500 rpm, as the tires will hit and hit hard. Once you break, install a nice rear and some 31 spline axels....then dump it at 5K. Once the tranny goes, we can upgrade that.

Leave off the limiter...if the rear end breaks get a better one. If it doesn't, get ready to snatch the next gear and drive your car like you stole it. :behind:

drop the tire pressure to 14-17psi and start launching at 3000. im on the Nitto's and i spin at 3500 for a 2.1 60'. if i launch at 3000 it bogs a little (very little) than grabs hard and so far my best is a 2.0 60'.

the way you heat the tires and track prep have a lot to do with it as well... we get crappy track prep at our track :santa_angry:

I just started going to the track so I need practice. My first pass ever with the e/t streets, I cut a 1.78 launching at 4500rpm. I don't have a built rear end but I have tubular upper/lower control arms so that helps out. Practice does make perfect. I was able to cut a 1.688 launching from 4500 so I'm keeping it there. Nothing has broken yet, so I'll keep it there. This is so you can use it as reference. :thumb:
