Message: <blockquote data-quote="281powered" data-source="post: 12284" data-attributes="member: 8300">went to the track last night to see how the pi intake and 3:90s gained, so heres the story. got to the track at 6:00pm and had been driving the car for 3hrs straight around the city picking up my cheuqe and a appointment i needed to go to. it was fairly warm out all day so when i get to the track i go right through tech inspection and just get my # painted on when they call my class up. so i roll up to the line against a blue 5L fox body lx stage and this was the result a 14.628 @ 94.26mph <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite4" alt=":mad:" title="Mad    :mad:" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":mad:" /> i just can't fucking drive anymore, sloppy shifts all the way through to 4th, but i just don't under stand how i only ran 94mph, i ran an identicle run last year minus newer tires the 3:90s and the pi intake, that # on that time slip were almost exactly the same right through and that netted me a 14.6 @ 94mph. same time in june last year and same weather. i had one more run after that then we got rained out but it was worse with a 2.4 60" and 14.7 @ 94mph, the car just never had a chance to cool down but and i have a still have a buggerd up hand from my work accident 2 1/2 months ago but come on those # are no better that a stock 97 gt? it's gotta have more in it tan that. i can feel how much harder the car pulls since the new gears and intake so whats up. i was at least expecting a low 14 @ around 98-99mph.<img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2194000-2194999/2194182_53_full.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></blockquote>
