Hello, have a '99 GT. Don't know much about its history other than it came from Florida via New Hampshire then Connecticut. It's got some mods but no idea what other than ( What I can see ) which are Motorsport shorty headers, Tubular K member, Accel coils, Flowmaster cat backs and has a small 'blub' out the pipes at idle. So it might have an aftermarket cam stuck in it.
What tuner is everyone using? I'm leaning towards a buying a Quarter Horse at the moment ( it's what I have in my '93 Thunderbird Supercoupe ) but, I 'm not in a hurry to purchase one right away. I've got to change out the dash assy, do some electrical work( driver's window doesn't go up or down ) etc, etc. You all know the routine. Cars been sitting and now stuff doesn't work.

I have had the QH with Binary Editor, Moates went out of business, there are still some around with a new replacement in the works, I also used the SCT handheld with pro racer. I am now using Tuner studio with the MS3Pro PNP ECU. the car runs better than it did before, way easy to tune and everything is live tuning or you can work on your files offline, the logging is far superior than the others. I converted to Speed Density instead of MAF now. Yu may want to look into as an option. everything worked on my dash cluster, but you will loose the OBD2 functions from the car odb plug as you need to hook to ecu with a tablet or computer. just like on the QH. but the nice part is nothing is locked out on the ecu. https://www.ampefi.com/product/ms3pro-plug-and-play-1999-2004-v8-mustang-gt/
