Yall got time and money for other hobbies? Wild.

I’ve got a couple supermoto projects I’ve been neglecting a couple of years.

I’ve recently gotten into R/C crawlers, more so into the 1/24 and 1/18 scale that I can dick around with in the house.

I have had too many over the years. Wife has "helped" me whittle it down.
Car audio
RC planes
RC cars
ham radio / APRS / Packet / Weather
Jeeps
imports
motorcycles
actual aviation

16th BDay gift from my dad ... that was a constant "hobby"

This ZJ started life as a 2wd....
Last i knew, it was still making the rounds around Tallahassee. Guy that bought it claimed on a forum that he built it... so i registered and photo-bombed his post with web links of the build. LOL

Now...
Still ride bikes. Have a Triumph Tiger
Still into Jeeps... sorta. Have a JKU Rubicon I got new in 2007.
Back into "flying"... Part 107 and playing with drones.
I keep my license up, but I don't even fool with Ham radio any more...
The Mustang is what is keeping me engaged in the automotive world these days. My JK is "done" until the day comes to hemi swap it.... or sell it.

I have too many Hobbies.

Mustangs aside...

-RC Airplanes, helicopters and Drones. I've built drones from kit form.
-Salt-water reef aquariums. Taking a break from this but the kids want a "nemo".
-Shooting
-Collect die cast Mustangs
-Fishing
-Was doing flight hours towards my pilot license but after kids lost interest in pursuing that.

Also been doing a bit of reading lately, most recently:
The Giver Quartet by Lois Lowry
For the Love of Country by Tulsi Gabbard
Angels & Demons by Dan Brown

Currently working on:
The Mammoth Book of Cover-Ups by Jon E. Lewis(Re-Reading for the third time)
The Bible, which going to catholic school all but one year of my life I'm very familiar with, but have never read cover to cover before. I'm through the book of Ezra about to start Nehemiah.

The Da Vinci Code is next up for me in the Robert Langdon series and I'll probably throw in one of Michio Kaku's books for a change of pace as well as Rand Paul's book on Covid.

"The Bible in 90 days" book is a great paraphrased story line write type to help with the mental imagery.
Yeah I always wanted to read the holy book of every religion cover to cover so I didn't want to go the "paraphrased" route. See who is saying the same shit and what makes people think the way they do. Getting through the historical section of the old testament is the biggest slog because it's literally reading page after page of family trees in essentially another language. Boring, but necessary to get through this bucket list item.

After I get through the holy books, my next bucket list item is to read through an entire webster's dictionary. That should be fun lol

When it came to the Bible, it always seemed to me that the ones who knew the most were atheist. LOL
