Not a bunch, gears is going to do wonders here with a 302 stang I think 3:73's would be best for a hot street set up. Coldair, massair, tb, and mabye a h-pipe and pulleys for good measure, headers wouldnt hurt either. With these mods you would be a good 25hp over stock and with the gears a LT1 should be no problem, a LS1 no thats a diffrent story.

for lt1's heck moslty driver. A few bolt-on's and you can take 'em down.
LS1's Well you get a full exhaust and H/C/I swap with good supporting bolt-on's and you can take 'em down all day long.

gears...and spray it. I ran a 125 Compucar kit on my car when it was bone stock for about 3 years. pulled the motor out still running like a champ to go to the current 331...still running the same kit! It may not be the answer you want to here but that 125 shot was difference between getting walking and smoking the f-bod guys.

dont even waste your money with a t/b, For now anyway. Go gears, 373/410. Underdrives. NOS BIGSHOT PLATE KIT jetted at 150hp with a jacobs mastermind and a fuel pump. Big fan of the nitrous mastermind. I (until recently) had a 98 ws6 Ram-air 6 speed, NOT STOCK, that would eat my cobra N/A. But when you throw 150 extra hp into it. I would start pulling away quick. DAMN I MISS THAT CAR!!!

Take $450 of your hard earned money and start off NOS 05115 kit and jet it for 100hp to start off and change you pump to a 255. After you get use to that go up to 150 like said already by Cobra456hp.
You will be an addict like everyone that hits the gas and smoke almost everything you go up against within reason. It's an amazing feeling and the first power adder I had. I was going broke filling up two 15# bottles a week for $80.
You'll want more advantage after that and then you can go get your gears but with those added with the n2o will make a significant difference in your car and you'll be out running every ls1 you see.

also remember, power is useless unless you can put it in the ground....a nice drag radial with shave alot off your time...and help with those pesky AWD cars on the street.

I am hopeing all you guys saying to use nos, is meaning what it would take to handle a LT1 NOT a LS1. Nos is not needed to take a LT1, just the normal bolt-ons and gears. For the alminghty LS1, yes a power-adder is necessary.

Hell yea, man after my own heart, but to be serious 100-150 shot of nitrous, gears, some suspension work and some grip(MT DR's) would waste an LT1 or LS1.

I't shouldn't take much, A my friend of my who in the past owned a 96 gt with bolt on'swould walk many stock lt1's and my friend that had a 95 z28 6 speed with a lid and catback would race my car ( before i owned the car ) and they would be pretty dam close from a dig and from a roll he wouldn't start pulling till like 80-100 after 100 he would hall ass on my car though.

I would think since a 94-95 cobra is 240 hp from the factory, that it shouldn't take much but however should be pretty close, but them dam lt1's and ls1's are quick :thumb:
