If you're going to spend the money on HCI, you can make a lot more power than either of those combos above for the same or slightly more money. AFR165/185 heads Systemax II Pick a popular cam or have one ground 30 lb injectors 255 lph pump MAF 75mm TB Nitrous Works Wet Kit Paul.
There are some h/c/i kits too that are priced reasonable and each part is made for the other. So you dont run into matching problems.
I went with this setup: AFR 165 - $1349 FRPP F303 - $189 GT40 intake (used) - $325 Harland Sharp Rockers - $200 ARP head bolts - $40 ARP intake bolts - $23 Professional Products throttle body - $135 Gaskets and odds and ends - $100 TOTAL = $2361

did you have stock hypertonic pistons that came in the 95 motors? Because i heard that you really can't use those heads with those kind of pistons. I am not sure that is just what i heard. Thats what kind of power i am looking for not alot, but not too-little. Ever take that combo to the track
Where did you hear that at?? Thats complete BS, yes they were the stock hypertonic pistons. It was a great combo and made super power for what it was.
not being able to use edelbrock heads because of hyper pistons... that is bs. the only reason for not being able to use some heads with pistons is because of piston to valve clearance. I about garuentee that edelbrocks will clear stock pistons.
