Wheel question

Ok this might be a stupid question but ohh well.... So when I recently bought my 03 gt it ha fr500 17" aluminum wheels black with polished lip. I am not a big black wheel fan is there a way to polish the whole wheel?? If so how?

You can polish them just like any other aluminum. Sanding sanding and more sanding, moving from coarse to finer grit paper, then use a polishing compound. I could imagine trying to get into all the nooks and crannies on those rims.

To speed things up, use some kind of paint stripper on the rims first. Then use a plastic scraper to get the paint off. Dont wanna create any more scratches than you have. Only polsihing ive done was a motorcycle frame and wheels, and they dont have as many tight spots as your rims have, but it still was pretty tedious and time consuming.
