What size spacer would I need to make my rear wheels look even with the front?
Any brands/styles better than others?

I hate the way our cars look uneven...

Thanks.....Outlaw

Yep,1'' for 9'' wheels(aftermarket),and most use 1 1/2'' for stockers. Do not buy any wheel spacer that isn't hubcentric, they will cause vibration, and are just cheap.

I 2nd that! You get what you pay for. There is an off-roading store on eBay that I got mine from, they make a world of difference.

I have 5/16 up front (going to switch to 1/2" soon) and 2" in the rear. But the back spacing on these wheels is different than the sn95 wheels. 5/16" up front is a must to prevent rubbing on the sway bar at full steering.

Sweet, but it will be a couple of months before I have any extra cash. Im buying a house right now and all my cash is going into that.
Unless they are real cheap, I just unassed 600.00 on new tires last Thursday.

You gotta get rid of those stock LCA's :pimp2:

Those are the same ones for my front wheels when I put on the skinnies.

if you road race or auto x, I wouldn't use spacers. I would just get new wheels with the proper offset.

Few hundred dollars for the wider wheels.... few hundred dollars for the tires... When I have the extra money for that... cool... until then... spacers.

I'm in the same boat with wanting to kick those rear wheels out to the fender (or closer anyway). Lots of people from Modular Depot say that you should ONLY go with brand name spacers - but I like the price of the Ebay sets better. lol I still haven't decided because I don't want to be unsafe about the decision. Here's the thing - if they're made out of the same materials, they're both hubcentric, and the Ebayer has good/lots of feedback, than is it really unsafe to go with the Ebay store's brand? Another question is whether you would have to trim back the stock studs in order for your wheel to sit flush on the spacer. I wouldn't wanna have to do that. Does anyone recall having to trim their stock studs back with 1" spacers and the OEM 97GT wheels? I can't remember if the wheels are recessed or flat on the wheel/hub mating surface.

Wes, I sent you a reply. Im not sure what the difference is between the name brand and the ebay, but my ebay ones have been holding up fine? My bullets have holes in the wheels where you wouldnt have to trim the studs. However my welds didnt. Probably just need to pull off your wheels and look.
