So I just got my engine started last week. Been all delayed cause those dumb ass covid bullshit
Anyway
So i got the right size belts for the supercharger and the main drive belt
There was the slightest play with the main drive belt and the next size was too small so I said hmm lemme put the belt on the other side of the tensioner pulley voila. All squealing went away it sound perfect just needed that 1/4-3/8”. I know the grooved side of the belt should NOT be against a smooth pulley so my question is where can I find a ribbed/grooved tensioner pulley so every thing is good for me
Sounds perfect now
