Where did you mount your MSD

Went to put my MSD box on and realized how big it is. Cant find a place to mount it. Any pics of where you mounted yours?

I don't have any pics but I mounted mine on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel inside the car. I put it as high up as possible and you can barely notice it.

Mine is underneath the passenger seat. Fits perfect.

MSD Digital 6 mounted behind the back seat. Easy access to the adjustment knobs and for troubleshooting.

im pretty sure u had to lengthen the wires alot??? didnt u??

The back seat option is out of the question because thats where I put my kids. like the idea of mounting it on the passenger side of the tunnel though

yeah. If you're going to extend the wires, you just need to go up one gauge size on the wire. I've never had an ignition issue, ever.

If you have a normal box (e.g. 6AL) with no knobs or buttons, then under the passenger seat is a perfect place for it. No heat, less vibration, out of the way, and so on. I've put it there on several of my mustangs over the years and it's like it was made for it.

Some people like to have their MSD box showing, but I don't care - so I just leave it where it is.
