Which Mustang that you prefers?

Just want your opinion, if you got to choose any Mustang since 1979, which Mustang would you take ?

My choice is this one, the 2003-2004 Mach 1, it's powerfull whit is 4.6 L 32V 305 H.P. engine, it's also a great classic stang, it got a touch of retro look, the shaker and the black spoiler:

I'd have to say Terminator also. If I did not have my head up my :ass3: for a couple years I would have bought one. I never realized the power they put out. Oh well, maybe Ford will come up with something (Shelby 500 is not in my price range), They might since the Challenger and Camaro are coming back in 09.

OK not that I'm being a smart ass or anything, but the 03-04 Mach cars were rated at 310hp @6000 ( not the 305 you quoted ). Fact is they made more than that because most of them put out around 280hp at the tires on dyno runs, but anyway they are without a doubt awesome cars and the leader in 4-valve performance........next to the 03-04 Cobra, and that would be my choice by the way.

Actually i heard that they may bring back the boss... the motor is supposed to be a 302 just shy of 400 hp and light as a v6 and it is going to be cheaper than the gt500 obviously. http://www.stangnet.com/Ford-Mustang/2008-boss-mustang-060726.html

Not to be a smart ass on your smart ass comment but the car is actually Rated at 305 hp at 5,800 and 320 lb-ft at 4,200 rpm. A 10.1:1 compression ratio. He he depending on where you look it will be more or less 5 HP in difference but it usually is advertised at 305 hp.
The Mach 1 is also my choice.

well................the info I have says it is rated at 310hp@ 6,000 / 335tq@4200 this is for the 2004 Mach car, one note is that the auto cars were rated at 308hp and 323tq

Good choice the 1979 «Official Pace Car» !

Only 11,000 were built, the engine was a 5.0 L no H.O., it got around 140 H.P., it was the first year also of the Mustang Fox, this car has the michelin metric TRX tire, these are hard to find now.

hmmm....since 79 huh?

I would have to go with the Mach 1, a 96-98 Cobra (biased I know), a S-351 of any year, a 95 Cobra R, 93 Cobra, or a 83-84 T-top GT.

Kind of a odd list, but meh. I tend to like strong running NA cars, (although the brute power of the S-351 calls me)

the T-top is in there cause my Dad is restoring a 88 T-top I bought him, and I love the T-top on the fox's, but I agree about the Pace car, something about that front end looks cool to me. 8)
