White Noise / Static with Aux and BT

Installed my new head unit (Pioneer MVHX560BT Digital Media Receiver) in my 95 GT and got all the wires connected, mic, usb, aux and I have a little static or white noise that is driving me crazy between songs when it's quiet. I've replaced the speakers in the back and front and I don't have an amp. Any thoughts? From my google searches it sounds like a potential ground issue but I really don't know where to start.

**Played with it a bit and I only get the static/white noise when it's in BT or AUX mode. It sounds great when the radio is on.

It does sound like you should try grounding it somewhere else

I'm an idiot. I had the volume almost all the way down on my phone and the volume had to be way up on the head unit and that's where that static/white noise was coming from. Once I balanced it out between the two it sounds much better.

Here's a pic of my hands free mic install. Used my dremel to make the hole and a rubber grommet to hold the mic in the hole. I think it turned out great and looks factory.
